Designer Interview
What was the overall vision for your space?
Our vision was to design a dining room that feels effortlessly sophisticated, blending natural materials, warm wood tones, and curated layers of texture. We wanted the space to reflect timeless refinement with a modern sensibility—a dining area that feels equally suited for intimate dinners and lively gatherings. The rich depth of the Valentina Dining Table, paired with the plush softness of the Dana Dining Chairs, creates an inviting balance between structure and comfort.
What’s your favorite thing about your space?
The interplay of materials brings to life an organic modern style that resonates effortlessly with any guest. The Kin Buffet adds rich contrast, while the brass accents introduce just the right amount of warmth and refinement. Every detail is carefully curated to strike a balance—structured but inviting, sophisticated yet approachable. It’s a space that feels both intentional and natural, making it a seamless extension of the home.
What advice would you give to homeowners regarding the key things to keep in mind when designing (your) space?
A dining room should feel intentional yet inviting. Start with a strong foundation—your dining table—and build around it with layers of texture and warmth. Upholstered chairs add softness, a statement light fixture creates ambiance, and a grounding rug ties the space together. Most importantly, design for the way you live—whether that’s hosting elegant dinner parties or gathering for casual meals.
