What was the overall vision for your space?
In the context of an open concept layout, the vision has been to feature an intimate seating area defined by its own symmetry. Thoughtfully curated furnishings take on sculptural form against the expansive glass wall that reveals the patio beyond inviting the user to relax and enjoy a sanctuary within the home.

What’s your favorite thing about your space?
I know I’ve struck a right chord aesthetically when I obsess over a space I’ve finished designing and want to live in it.

What advice would you give to homeowners regarding the key things to keep in mind when designing (your) space?
Light is a vital consideration for interior design. Plan around windows and maximize inviting in natural light to invigorate your senses. Similarly, never underestimate the importance of incorporating ample light fixtures in a room, and put thought into using the right bulb. While LED technology has made a tremendous and lasting impact on lighting design, beware of light that can sap the life from color and rob a space of ambience. As general advice, rely on warm light to create atmosphere. Incorporate plug-in light fixtures generously, not only for tasks, but also to enhance the mood of a room and bring warmth to your home.
